As always, the program day started with the National Anthem. This clip contains the end of the Anthem, and the first Station ID, read by announcer Ed Sciaky. (57 seconds)

The introductory speeches were followed by the first actual program broadcast from the new building, a documentary on "The History of Broadcasting at Temple University," produced by Jerry Klein.
