Actually doing quite well in Sillycon Valley, California. Gee, I wonder how the rumor of my death got going.
Had a good run in the radio business during the 70's and 80's, and was a major rock jock here in the SF bay area. The call letters that Bill Koselnyk forgot were KOME, a station I helped put on air back in 1971, and worked at for many, many years. Who would think that that small radio station would become the backbone for CBS/Infinity Broadcasting.
Later worked as a technical software manual writer for IBM and TRW and eventually burned out on high tech (and you think broadcasting is a nutty business, try working with geeks). I was beginning to think that I was DIlbert in the flesh. I was living the life of Alice the neurotic tech writer. Thank God that I never got her hair in the process.
Evnetually, I went back to grad school at SF state and now work as a rehabilitation counselor working with the disabled community and with people going thorugh work related injuries and career changes. Quite a 180 degree shift from media and high tech.
By the way, glad to see that Harry Wolf has retained his sense of humor. HE always kept me in stiches. I wonder if he still has that old Sumbeam Tiger?
If you would like to write, just send something to my e-mail listed above. Would love to hear from any old RTI folks.
