Reading the musings and ponderings of Gerry made me think of my freshman semester. We all had to read and know the "Acres of Diamonds" speech. I seem to remember some sort of identification on the bronze bust, because I knew who it was. The Owl's Nest was indeed a cozy, warm place. I wonder how cozy, warm and inviting steel is.
How lucky we were to have been at Temple when we were. Many of the commuters went to Temple because they couldn't afford to live away from home. Others attended Temple because it was an excellent university with a superb reputation.
The Millenium is upon us and everything that was will be no more. How sad.
