Nope--The up position is labeled "Announce Booth." Essentially pot 4 was available for three locations, the studio, the control room, and an additional announce booth, which we never used.

Quite true. If I remember the trick, you had to unpunch the button for that remote from its air pot, punch that button on the upper row for the monitor, and use the upper set of talkback buttons. I have the board manual over at the other house and will retrieve it to double check.
