I seem to be noticing a pattern here.
Look at the Temple News article about how Harold Thomas was forced to retire when he was 67 on January 29, 1973.
Look at the description that Mrs. Dusenbury gives about how Temple forced Dr. D. to retire when he was 67 on December 26, 1980.
Then notice that Temple tore down the first building of Temple University, the Grace Baptist Church in 1969.
Now notice that Temple wants to tear down both the Baptist Temple and Thomas Hall.
They don't have much regard for their past, do they?
Now WMMR has let Ed Sciaky go--too old at 49.
But you know something, I bet the young Temple students in 1973 didn't want to lose Harold, in 1980 didn't want to lose Dr. D, in 1969 didn't want to lose the Grace Baptist Church OR WRTI-AM OR WRTI-FM's student operation, and now I bet the youth are not the ones wanting to tear down the Baptist Temple and Thomas Hall, or lose the expertise of Ed Sciaky.
SOMEONE did it or are doing it because they think that's what they young want.
The kids are/were not that dumb. They just don't have any say in the matter.
