His Story
The following is an e-mail from Steve Geiger to Gerry Wilkinson on December 28, 1999....
I'm a SCAT alum (1980). I was News Director at WRTI in ''79 - '80. It is my fondest college memory. During that time, I planned the station's live election coverages. Both John Roberts and Gordon Gray were my mentors. Steve Geiger This is the WRTI Old Gang Web Site
The Temple WRTI experience made it possible for me to excel in my profession. I have traveled the world in pursuit of stories.
For the last 15 years, I've worked at WTVT, the FOX owned TV station in Tampa, Florida. I started as a reporter and currently am Executive Producer of News Special Projects. Good to see an effort being made to keep the WRTI memories alive. I am saddened that nobody from my era is involved....
