An e-mail from Ira Mellman to Gerry Wilkinson....By the way, I am the news part of the morning show at WBIG..but that is subcontracted to Shadow Broadcast Services. I am Shadow's Washington DC News Director.

This may be a little confusing as Shadow Traffic here in Philadelphia was sold to Metro Networks. The Westwood One company that owns Ira's outfit, owns Express Broadcast Services here in Philly. They serve KYW and others with Traffic Reports and News. Nels Hobdell worked there.

Gee, until we saw this photo, we thought that when Ira said, "I like soft sax," we thought his spelling was just a little off.
