These two photos appeared in the 1967 edition of the Templar, the Temple University Yearbook, who gave us permission to republish these pictures.
The yearbook picture is from 1968 edition of the Templar, who gave us permission to republish the photo. The 1968 yearbook was in the collection of Mike Muderick. Virginia is Gerry's mother who graduated from Temple in 1967 with a Bachelors degree in Accounting. Ray had been with the Evening Bulletin and then the Philadelphia Daily News. Earlier in 1997, or maybe late in 1996, Ray left the paper for a new job. He ended up at NFL Films. Gerry Wilkinson talked to Ray via telephone on March 31, 1998. Gerry and Ray talked a little about the old days especially Charlie Liebman and George Vandergheynst. Ray has won several Emmys and has authored several books.
