Bob Kravitz

His Story

Bob Kravitz was graduated from Temple University in 1969. While still in college, he started at WFIL-TV, now WPVI, Channel 6 in Philadelphia. He's currently a photojournalist for Action News. In 1970, he was the youngest staffer "on the street." Bob has traveled around the world for Channel 6, from shooting Move in 1978 to being in Rome the next day for the Pope`s Funeral. Also spent 1991 in the Gulf for Desert Storm.

He has gathered many awards, but none like the marriage to Susan Block 26 years ago who is still his best friend today. Also Bob`s advocation takes him around the world. He is an Opera/Broadway singer who has done roles in Marriage of Figaro to Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof. He has done three one man shows in the Tristate Area plus New York, Opera Broadway, Tevye From Anatevka, and Al Jolson.
