Nelson Tobolsky

What We Know

On Monday morning, January 25, 1999, Gerry Wilkinson talked to Nelson Tobolsky. He was with WRTI in the late fifties. He was only with the station for a couple of years and then he left Temple University.

Living in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Nelson is involved in real estate and investment properties in South Jersey. However, his real passion is SENIOR SOFTBALL. He is married and has children including Frank (born in 1961) who is a Philadelphia attorney.

On April 24, 2003, we received this e-mail from Nelson: I finally decided to get with it at age 62 an get on the Internet, and to my amazement, discovered this wonderful web site with a picture of me no less: I haven't had this much notoriety since I was a baby. The work that you've done to compile all of this information is truly fantastic and amazing . What great nostalgia, to read some of the Biography's of people that I came in contact with during the late 50's. Well now I have an E-mail address in case anyone remembers from almost 45 years ago, at the age of 17, wow.
