Thanks for forwarding the article on Ed. I never realized the key role Gene
Shay played in his career. For someone who hasn't lived in Philadelphia for
years, the article was a great overview on how radio in Philadelphia has
changed over the years, especially with consolidation. Nevertheless, it was
good to see that a single, independent voice like Jerry Lee can still make
it to the top. He is a terrific and original broadcaster.
